Okay, okay! I say it often. I seem to dip off the radar after a good stint of blogging. I get severe writer’s block and completely second guess myself. I have no idea what to say to you, which also is totally ridiculous as I know exactly what I want to say, what I want to share, write about, photograph, document.
It’s so funny how much we can impact our own thoughts and be our own worst enemy and get in our own way.
I have been recently working with a new mentor, and having gone through her recent programme, I realise more and more I am completely in my own way and I need to start showing up as the business owner I want to be.
So with that being said, I want to share more about the journey of getting out of your own way as an entrepreneur, getting over the fear to put yourself out there, and setting out your goals, putting your mind to anything and you can achieve it.
So here I am showing up to say I am committed to showing up here!
There is something really refreshing about the middle of the year to me, sometime I think I find it even more refreshing than the New Year. And weirdly, I have this sense of change around the change of Spring and again in September.
Something I love to do around this time is re-evaluate the goals I set at the start of the year. Just to make sure I am on track, to see where I am at, if projects are still going according to plan, or if they are even still lighting me up. It’s a really good time to reflect, revisit the to-do list, get excited about projects that you dreamed off for the year, maybe work out where you are at and what you need to be doing to get back on track.
Do you find you have a change mid year? Need to reflect and reevaluate? Comment below, I’d love to hear if ever find this and if you take time to reevaluate the year so far.
Also in other, exciting news, wedding season has very much started and I am in the midst of a very busy couple of months! So for those of you who don’t know, I own a photography business where I specialise in photographing weddings, but I also photograph female business owners, which is amazing, I totally love connecting with like-minded women who have big dreams in their business and want to create amazing visuals to take their business, services and products to the next level.
