If you have been following me for sometime, you may have noticed a pattern and a love for photographing flowers! I love photographing people, but give me a bunch of flowers and I will be there for forever!
My good friend Jodi, invited me to a workshop in London a couple of weeks back to attend a floristry masterclass! I was so so excited and I couldn’t wait to get started!
Bloomon is a fresh flower company that deliver flowers to your door, yes your door! Weekly, every other week, once a month! However frequently you want them delivered! I don’t know about you, but I love having fresh flowers in the house! But they have been running some mini workshops. They like to keep the group sizes small, and I have a feeling they are only running them for the summer, so quickly check it out now before it goes!
I would highly recommend this workshop, even if for just abit of fun for an hour or so and trying something new. I didn’t realise that giving a little bit of extra care and attention to your flowers and they could last up to a couple of weeks! But what made it for me was the guy who ran the workshop, Stuart. He was really inspiring, had loads of energy and a really passionate about what he does! As a business owner and creative, it was so nice to see someone smiling ear to ear talking about their craft! I left the class, feeling really uplifted and just I guess happy! Granted, I still can’t flower arrange for anything ha! There is a real art and talent to it, but for an informal class I learnt alot and went away with a stunning bouquet of flowers!
I signed up straight away when I was there to receive their delivery service of florals! And the pictures in this post are from my second bunch of flowers from Bloomon. I don’t think I did too bad a job of arranging them! But I could photograph them for hours!
Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post, and have a lovely weekend ahead of you!
Much love, Charlotte
