How’s your week been? I am writing this today looking out my office window to a blanket of white everywhere! Yes it is 18th March and today it is snowing again in the South of England. Talk about freak weather!
But I absolutely love it, I am such a big kid! Equally I go on shut down mode, I don’t go out in the car – as definitely scary thought driving in the snow when we aren’t prepared for it here – so we have a mini hibernation. This weekend we have family staying so it will be for sure a quick dog walk up at the park….maybe make a snowman! And a cosy day at home, drink tea, play games and chill!
How are you enjoying the snow?
My Favourite Links of the Week
I am always having a love/hate relationship with my planner and always looking out for ways to improve it, make life/business easier have it as my absolute go to essential! I read this article this week over on CDG about creative ways to make your planner more interesting! I love articles like this as you can always apply just one tip or two that can make such a difference. I love the idea of an inspiration page – a place you can brain dump, a place where I can turn to for ideas that had already been in mind.
Quarter life crisis! This has been on my mind for some years. Turning a new age has never really been something I have been dreading, or worry over. Turning the age of 25 did feel like a turning point for me, I was at a high in my corporate career, we were living in the city, things were amazing, but I was also at this strange point where things were changing and I felt anxious about the future and where we were going.
Now having just recently turned 28 and approaching 30, we are also getting married this year, things feel very ‘adult’, and feel transitioning into another chapter of our life. I read this great article this week on Camille Styles about this very topic. It was an interesting article and definitely gave me some things to think about.
“So sit down, take a deep breath, and start thinking about small steps you can take today to start exploring new opportunities or learning new skills. Every little bit counts’
Another amazing article from Camille Styles on Decluttering your life another article about sorting things out >> A good book recommendation also on this top is The Life Changing Magic of Tidy!
With 6 months to go to the wedding, I need to start sorting my life out again in relation to diet. I have been looking into the mediterranean diet and really looking forward to adding more of this into our weekly meals. I found this article which talks about small ways you can incorporate it into your diet. Looking into I read so many articles about how good it is for you and the benefits you can get from it. Sunday is a great end of the week to reflect and how you can make positive changes for the week ahead. I am definitely going to start making changes this coming week and I will keep you posted!
Anyways enough rambling for now – I hope you have an incredible week ahead of you!
Much love, Charlotte
