I recently came across a blog called The Garcia Diaries which is a super sweet blog all life and style written by Bethanie Garcia! Anyway, as you do, I was having a read through back some of her posts and came across a post she wrote with 50 random questions and answered them on her blog! My friend Becky from The Dream Home We Built recently mentioned it would be nice to find out a bit more about me on the blog so I thought this would be a great opportunity to do something like this and share a bit more about me, a bit of fun, and for us to get to know each other – I’d love to hear something about you in the comments below!

Were you named after anyone?
I don’t think so 🙂 My full name is Charlotte Victoria Bryer-Ash
When was the last time you cried?
I’m a bit soppy – I cried to an audition on Britain’s Got Talent the other day!
Do you like your handwriting?
Noooo! I hate my handwriting, I tried calligraphy recently and envy people who have beautiful handwriting. I don’t think mine has changed since I have been at school.
What is your favourite lunch meat?
I prefer ham’s in my sandwich, or better yet salami or chorizo
Do you have kids?
Nope, hopefully one day, but our puppy is enough for us for now 🙂
If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
I’d like to think I am a nice person, so yes I think I would be!
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
No, not really
Do you still have your tonsils?
Yes
Would you bungee jump?
Hmmmm no, I am such a woss and scared of heights, I would be panicking and overthinking that the rope would break or something!
What is your favourite cereal?
Definitely Crunchy Nut!
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
I don’t tend to wear many shoes that have laces…but nope – which is super lazy, and then I get so frustrated when I’m in a rush and have to untie them first! I love my converse as I don’t tie these ones!
Do you think you are strong?
Not really, I have little to know upper body strength ha!
What is your favourite ice cream?
Salted Caramel for sure
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Their smile – you can tell a lot from someone I think from their smile
Red or pink?
It definitely depends on the type of red and pink ha! Pillar box red and Blush/Dusky Pink
What is the least favourite thing about yourself?
It’s a terrible habit but I bite my nails! I am just going to hide in shame now!
What is the spark feature that has helped you the most?
Hmmm I don’t know what this means – but I would definitely say my fiance, parent’s, my brother and my closest friends are the ones who have helped me the most
What colour shoes are you wearing?
Well it’s sunny outside so in typical UK fashion as soon as the sun comes out, I am in sandals – they are flat, jewelled sandals, so uncomfortable for walking longer than like 20 miutes, but I love them!
What was the last thing you ate?
A chicken salad for lunch, I am trying to be really healthy at the moment as we are getting married this year. I don’t really diet anymore, so healthy eating is where it is at for me personally at the moment.
What are you listening to right now?
Summer Hits playlist on Spotify – yep the sun is shining and I am ready for BBQ season!
If you were a crayon, what colour would you be? Blue
Favourite smells? BBQs and The White Company Winter Candle

Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?
My Mum

Beach house for sure!
Favourite sports to watch?
Tennis – spent most of my teenage years playing tennis as my mum was a tennis coach, I used to help out at the weekends too!

Do you wear contacts?
No I don’t wear contacts, but I do have to wear reading glasses….although I hardly ever do!
Favourite food?
Oooo this one is so tricky! I am a real foodie, so it depends what mood I am in – I love everything from home comfort food like Shepard’s Pie, Sausage and Mash or a Roast Dinner – then the likes of Cheese, Charcuteries and nibbles (I could live on this type of food!) But then I also really really love Thai/Asian food & Sushi! Oh I don’t know….this is another thing about me I am really really bad at making decisions!

I was actually born in London and gre up there till the age of 7. All my family live in Dorset so we spent a lot of time coming back here to see family, and then we moved full-time when I was around the age of 7.

We currently live in a small village just outside of Winchester, but in the coming months we hope to be moving back to our hometown in Dorset.

Any pets?
Yes we have a dog – Denzel! He is a complete boss and got me totally under the thumb. He is a Beige Shih Tzu, he turns 3 this year – he’s pretty stubborn and high maintanence when it comes to attention but we absolutely adore him!
